About Battle Plan
Battle Plan Strategic Consulting, LLC, was founded in October of 2020, and is a Black-woman owned consulting firm that provides comprehensive and culturally competent business services to diverse organizations (with a focus on nonprofits). Battle Plan leverages its expertise across various industries and sectors, technological solutions, and a passion for bridging equity gaps to drive efforts that ultimately optimize organization operations, thereby enhancing impact.

Laurin K.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & Principal Consultant
Laurin, CEO and Principal Consultant of Battle Plan Strategic Consulting, LLC has ~15 years of diverse experience across the public and private sectors in project/program management, consulting, event planning, healthcare, public health, communications, process improvement, as well as diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Laurin has utilized her experience and expertise to provide instrumental support to various Fortune 500 companies, as well as federal agencies. A lifelong learner, Laurin earned her Master of Public Health with a certificate in Health Management and Policy from Benedictine University in 2019. In 2020 and 2021, Laurin acquired her Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, as well as Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Laurin excels at and is passionate about process improvement and supporting small-to-mid-size nonprofits with their organizational development efforts.
Gina L.
Lead Events Consultant
Gina is an accomplished events professional with more than a decade of experience and a passion for creating memorable experiences for audiences of all sizes. She has successfully created and produced conventions, board meetings, galas, trainings, virtual conferences and receptions. Gina's speciality is logistics and being able to craft an amazing attendee experience from start to finish. She has accumulated her wealth of knowledge and experience through work with NAACP, The Links, Incorporated, The Liaison Capitol Hill Hotel and Art and Soul Restaurant. Gina graduated from Spelman College, with a Bachelor’s in Comparative Women’s Studies with a concentration in Media and Communications. She completed her post graduate education at Georgetown University and received a Master’s in Public Relations and Corporate Communications.
La Tanya S.
Project Management Consultant
La Tanya S. is a results-driven Project Management Consultant with a proven track record of delivering medium to large-scale, complex, enterprise-wide projects. Her expertise spans Business and Information Technology initiatives, where she excels at aligning teams to achieve strategic objectives. Her extensive experience includes leading global implementations of HR and HRIS processes and systems, showcasing her ability to navigate both tactical execution and strategic leadership. Passionate about empowering and developing people, La Tanya brings a unique blend of technical expertise and human-centered leadership. She holds an MBA and is certified as a PMP, CSM, and CSPO, underscoring her commitment to excellence in project management and agile practices.

Executive Assistant
Gabrielle is a dynamic professional with expertise spanning executive assistance, event coordination, social media management, and brand strategy. Currently serving as a Virtual Assistant at Battle Plan Strategic Consulting, she brings a versatile skill set and a proven ability to manage diverse responsibilities with precision and creativity. Previously, Gabrielle was the Senior Meetings and Event Coordinator at CBRE Microsoft, where she played a pivotal role in organizing high-profile events. Her experience extends to the entertainment industry, having worked as a TV Researcher for Hulu/Andscape's award-winning show, The Conversations Project. A proud graduate of Morgan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Science, Gabrielle is deeply passionate about fashion, dancing, fitness, and cherishing quality time with family and friends. Known for her innovative thinking and dedication, she consistently delivers excellence in every project she undertakes.
Michael K.
Chief Of Staff
Michael K, the Chief of Staff responsible for supporting Battle Plan Strategic Consulting’s C-Suite executives, as well as overseeing Battle Plan's digital and social strategies, is an administrative professional with 10+ years of admin, project management and customer service experience currently studying Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence. His ambition, diverse background and passion for helping others all catalyze his work as the first point of contact for Battle Plan Strategic Consulting LLC's customers, and supporting role to all of its executives. Michael is recognized for his ability to take initiative on big projects and lead as an example to others.
Jasmin W.E.
Project Management Consultant
Jasmin is an expert in communications management, strategic planning, and performance measurement, directing communications for a multi-billion dollar portfolio in both the private and public sectors. As a Certified Customer Experience Professional, Certified Digital Marketing Associate, and SAFe Scaled Agilist, Jasmin excels in building user-friendly, secure, and efficient digital platforms for corporations and nonprofits. Jasmin’s notable projects include managing the website for the Association for Black Women in Program and Project Management and serving as the web and digital marketing manager for her local chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She also teaches web design skills to underserved students as an Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of Baltimore. Currently serving on the Board of Directors for Civic Works, Jasmin brings her extensive experience in human-centered organizational design and stakeholder engagement to the NCAN project, ensuring the new AMS and website effectively meet the needs of the organization and its members.

Ashley is a results-driven Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 8 years of experience leading cross-functional teams in higher education and healthcare. Ashley specializes in driving innovation and technology adoption to enhance user-centric systems and streamline processes. Her expertise includes project planning, change management, and cross-functional team leadership. Currently serving as the Curriculum Project Manager at Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine, Ashley leads curricular innovation and technology adoption projects, including comprehensive LMS implementations. Her previous roles include Project Manager and ScrumMaster at Reliable Healthcare Services, where she improved operational efficiency and delivered impactful training. Her skills encompass project and program management, Agile methodologies, and software proficiency in tools such as MS Office Suite, Trello, SharePoint, and Jira.
